Actually too much to mention. The activities are very varied and no two days are the same but a normal day at the job can consist of things like:

  • Intervening and remedying incidents
  • Keeping servers up to date and take action on critical patches
  • Installing new servers
  • Taking care of backups and the associated checks
  • Keeping documentation up-to-date on the basis of activities and changes
  • Answering technical and functional questions about the different platforms
  • Improving and updating procedures
  • Troubleshoot where necessary
  • 2nd and 3rd line (telephone) on customer support

  • Extensive technical experience as a system administrator
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Go, Shell, Linux, Ansible and AWS 
  • Knowledge of methodologies such as ITIL and Scrum
  • Knowledge of languages PHP, JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Knowledge of framework Laravel, Symfony and Express
  • Knowledge of authorization-, authentication-, and functional programming methods
